A tropical storm rolled right through the middle of our beach trip this year, so we decided to make the most of it! The sky was overcast, the wind was fierce, and the waves were insane - it literally looked like a scene out of a movie (aka the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot)! I decided that I needed a long, flowy dress, but of course, I didn't bring one. I had a very specific look in mind for these photos - and once my mind is made up, it cannot be changed (ask my poor, sweet husband :)! So I went out to a few stores in search of my vision and ended up finding exactly what I wanted! The dress originally came with a black slip on the inside, but I cut it out and wore my one-piece bathing suit underneath for a more beachy vibe!

I have to say, this was my favorite and most fun shoot to date since launching the fashion portion of the blog! I had the hardest time picking out pictures because I loved almost all of them! I have to give a shoutout to my amazing husband (and photographer) for always giving it 100% and helping me bring my vision to life every single time! :)
