Top Summer Reads
One of my favorite hobbies is reading books! And I'm talking an actual book in my hands type of reading. However, as you all know, life gets a little hectic/crazy/busy at times, and I don't end up reading as much as I would like. I only really read when we go to the beach or on vacation because, for once, I actually have the time (so I literally read 4-5 books in the span of a week)! This year, I decided to change that and make a new year's resolution to read more. And so far, I have read 12 books! So I wanted to share with you some of my absolute favorite reads of ALL time! 🤓
Tales From the Back Row by Amy Odell - This funny, light-hearted read is all about being a young woman inside of the fashion industry. There are tales from runway shows, run-ins with top industry leaders, and tips and tricks to surviving the crazy world of fashion (while keeping your sense of humor in tact)! If you are even remotely interested in fashion, this behind the scenes book is a must! Get it here.
We Were Liars by E. Lockhart - You guys.... the ending to this book.... The suspense, the twist, the mystery - this book has everything! I was so curious as to what would happen next that I couldn't put it down (I finished this book in one sitting)! Get it here.
Pretty Baby by Mary Kubica - This book really tested my feelings in many different ways. The suspense that leads to the surprise ending is crazy! If you like thrillers, add this one to your list! Get it here.
Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin - This book is the first of a series, and let me tell you guys, it is TOO good! And if you get this one, you have to get the whole series. She is one of my favorite authors - I have seriously loooved all of her books! I just ordered her newest - First Comes Love - and I can't wait to dive into it! Get it here.
Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan - This book was beyond entertaining and fascinating! It was impossible not to get sucked into the lives of the absurdly rich. I can't wait to read the follow up, China Rich Girlfriend! Get it here. (If you get this one, and end up loving it as much as I did, you will be happy to know they are coming out with a movie soon!)
A Dog's Journey by W. Bruce Cameron - As a dog lover, this story really touched my heart. It teaches you about the unrelenting devotion and endless love that dogs give us each and every day! This is actually the sequel to A Dog's Purpose, which I have not read. But I highly recommend this one! Get it here.
The Storyteller by Jodi Picoult - I saved the best (and my favorite) for last! But just a little warning, this book is intense, to say the least! However, this book is extraordinary and beautifully written. This one is all about forgiveness - no matter how hard! Get it here. Jodi Picoult is my favorite author of all time! I think I have read everything that she has ever written and each one leaves me wanting more. You will not go wrong with any of her novels!

All of the above are books that I have already read, but I still have SO many on my wishlist! Here are just a few that I will be reading in the upcoming months: Sweetbitter, The Woman in Cabin 10, The Good Girl, Small Great Things, and Wreck and Order.
