Gurl Gone

Hi everyone and welcome back to The Gray Beginning!  First of all, I have to apologize for being M.I.A.  The last time I posted was over a YEAR AGO!  *Please allow me a moment to hide my head in shame!*  This past year has been an absolute whirlwind and so much has happened since the last time we "talked".  Sooo.... let me fill you in.

We've had many celebrations: my 26th AND 27th birthdays, Andrew's 27th birthday (I forgot how old he was at first! HA!), Georgia and Major's adoption days/"birthdays", and our 2nd wedding anniversary.

We've taken a few trips: Destin, FL with Andrew's family, Orcas Island with my family, Bainbridge Island, Portland, and then home for the holidays.

Back in Seattle, we visited a few fashion exhibits at our local museums.  The WOW (World of Wearable Art) exhibit at the MoPop Museum.  And then the Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum.

For the first time (ever), Andrew and I celebrated the holidays all on our own: Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve.  It was definitely a little sad because we missed our families so much, but we decided to make a few traditions of our own.  And then, of course, we celebrated New Years and brought in 2017 with the best view in the city!

We've already had so many adventures this year so far and I can't wait to continue them!  I have some big plans for the blog and I am going to try my absolute hardest to keep up with this better than I have been.  When I started this blog, I wanted to eventually add a fashion section.  Fashion has always been my biggest passion in life.  So, I think I am finally ready to add that to TGB!  Stay tuned for some exciting new content!  :)
