Super Bowl Party for 2

After church and lunch, we decided to make a quick trip to the market before the game started.  I love going to the market.  I love smelling the fresh flowers (the fish, not so much), seeing all the colorful produce and unique handmade goods - there is just such a good vibe there.  It's always fun to visit the market, especially when we actually have something to get.

After we got the necessities - potatoes and flowers - we headed home to watch the game and eat some good snacks.  I don't know about you, but my favorite part about the Super Bowl is the food.  Some people watch for the love of football or their specific team, some people watch for the commercials, some for the halftime show (BEYONCÉ!), but I am here for the food.  The Broncos may have won, but in our house, the pigs in a blanket took home the trophy.

This was our first Super Bowl without friends and family surrounding us, which was a little sad.  But I have to say, I am so thankful for the small little family that I have with Andrew and our cute little pups.
